CRAZY.

Lots of weird things have been going on here lately.  Lots.  The two best things that have happened were:  1. We picked Marissa up from visiting with her dad, and she's now at home and biding her time until school starts (and while that's not one of the weird things, it is noteworthy), and 2. My dad bought us a (new-to-us) car (which IS one of the weird things, obviously).

I KNOW.  Good weird, but weird nevertheless.

Wow! That's awesome!

And I thought of you when I saw this. I don't crochet although I think that once I've finished the knit wool soaker I'm making for Lili, I just might tackle crochet because I want one of these! -- http://www.tickleturdle.com/wrappattern.html

Anyhow, the pattern is free but if you want to sell them she's got licenses available. These are unique - I've never seen one quite like them so you might have good success in selling them.

Looks like a nice car! My dad does weird stuff sometimes too. I think they do it just to catch us off guard.

I like "good weird." When I was in college this one friend of mine and I would be talking about someone or other when we would often refer to them as weird (I know. I am bad). Because we were guilt-ridden folk, we would often follow "weird" with, "but they are a good weird." Now your car on the other hand, it really is a "good weird." Congratulations. Okay, did that make any sense whatsoever? And maybe you could take me for a ride in it sometime (if I am ever in the area). I promise to bring my discipline plan and a sword [wink].

Hey Beck told me your hubby works for Lynch? Did you know my husband used to work there? Is it still as scummy as it used to be?? I've heard they have fancy new uniforms and rigs. But when the head personnell are doing crack at work, well it makes you wonder about the whole operation. Oh yeah and the staff having sex in the ambulances or in the break room...NICE. I LOVED it when my husband worked there.

It's a '97 Jetta with pretty low miles considering the year, stick shift, leather interior, automatic EVERYTHING...... we just love the shit out of it. It ROCKS!

Candi~ he *used* to work there. I made him quit because they had promised him the same schedule as Parker (so they could carpool and Bryan could get overtime) and then never delivered. It literally cost us money for him to work there b/c of gas and the commute, I can't even imagine how bad it would be if he worked there now. So, yes, he used to, but he doesn't anymore. Only sluts and crazy people work there, LMAO!
