Twenty-five

I was tagged by Krystyn (whom I adore, and want to clone so I can have one at my house) for the 25 list. I also copied this version from Sarah, because that's the way I roll.

1. Does someone love you?
Oh yes, I'm very lucky like that.

2. What colour is your couch?
We have two - one is a burnt orange, and one is an overstuffed floral. I KNOW.

3. Has anyone ever mistaken you for someone famous?
I have been told that I look like her (before I added the sparkly bits to my face).

4. Are you named after a grandparent?
I'm named after my dad, but he's not my grandparent. So, no.

5. Say you were given a drug test right now. Would you pass or fail?
I would totally win that shit. I say nope to dope.

6. Are you taller than 5′6″?
Yes, by a whopping two inches.

7. When was the last time you were disappointed?
Is it sad that I can't remember? It could be because my emotions are highly variable, or I have a bad memory, or I'm dead inside.

8. Ever seen a dead body?
Yes. I used to go to a Southern Baptist Church (yes, really) and one of the girls in the youth group there died a very tragic, unexpected death. I went to her open-casket funeral. It was terrible. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

9. Who was the last person to send you a text message?
It's hard to send receive them when one doesn't have a cell phone. Like me.

10. What did you do yesterday?
A buncha stuff, like working, yelling at kids, eating food, and drinking lots of coffee. I also crocheted a bunch.

11. What’s the first thing you would do with five million dollars?
Buy me one of these. And then promptly give a bunch of people a bunch of money, because I like to share.

12. What nationalit(ies) are you?
My dad's family is German and Irish, and my mom's family is English.

13. Any upcoming concerts you want to attend?
I don't keep track of these things anymore. It's sad.

14. Who’s the last person that you felt was stalking you?
charlie. I'm totally considering a restraining order.

15. What’s your zodiac sign?
Taurus.

16. Where do you spend most of your money?
My electric bill, which is so very offensive.

17. On what do you spend most of your energy?
Physical energy? The kids. Mental energy? Probably work. I have a job that makes me think. A lot.

18. Is there a secret you’ve never told any of your friends?
Probably not. I tend to not have anything that's big enough to never tell anyone.

19. What are you doing in 2008?
Hopefully way more work to the house. And maybe getting an espresso machine, or opening a Starbucks in my garage.

20. What’s your favourite Disney movie?
Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

21. Have you cried today?
Nope. I haven't cried since the car broke, and we found out it was going to be over $500 to get it fixed.

23. What is your ringtone?
I don't have a cell phone, but the ringtone on my house phone goes like this, "ring! ring! ring!"

24. What is the wallpaper on your mobile phone?
I don't want to be left out of a question since I don't have a cell phone, so you can see my desktop background, instead.

25. Name twenty five bloggers you read that you’d like to learn twenty five things about.
You’re all invited to answer one of the above questions in the comments. (Yes, I stole this verbatim. Snap!)

Oh crapbiscuits! I thought I caught that soonn enough. I'd totally repost the old one, but I didn't save it. Damnnit! I was all on the spot and stuff when I got tagged by Paul... I was like... I can't do eight more!

In my defense, I only used six things from the first. Two of those are totally new.

Ok, so enough about me.

3) I think you look like her. She's a friend from art school days. I swear she's your doppelgänger. Voice and all.

4) Your dad is named Daphne Blue?

11) I forgot to mention, I would like TOTALLY share with you too.

19) Oh yeah, I'd get you a Starbucks for your garage.

If your readers turn out to be more obedient than mine and actually answer one of the questions for you, I'm gonna come over there and sit on your head. Like some sort of unusual hat.

My dad's side is Austrian, my mom's side is Scottish with a wee bit of English.

Hey! My ringtone on my cell phone is "ring! ring!"

Awesome!

Also, you need to google Anna Maria Horner right now, Sister Roo! I am crushing hard on her stuff, and I think you would like it too. Then we can call each other on our ringy phones and fight about who she would like more if she met both of us.

Not only have I seen a dead body, but I found it. Not one of my finer moments, but it answers a question like I was instructed. See, I can follow instructions ;)
