Cracker houses

Last year I bought a gingerbread house kit with all the trimmings (it was not cheap) and we ended up finally throwing it away. In September. This year, I bought two boxes of graham crackers and an assload of candy, and set everything up for the kids to decorate.
Much, much better. And cheaper. And a little messy. But super awesome.

I'm holding off letting the kids eat them, because that part scares the crap out of me. I think I'll have Bryan gas the car up, so when things start getting CRAZY we can make a quick getaway.
I hope your holiday is as magnificent as ours, with a smidge less crazy.

Dude, I gassed the car up after we bought the candy, in anticipation of all the eating. In times like these, I try to be "super-prepared". I heard something about kids in China that had eaten gingerbread houses having vapor trails from the sugar high, so, let's just hope they can't catch up with the car on foot.

Perhaps you should grease the back bumper so that should any of the three catch up with you, they won't be able to hold on. Almost like Terminator 2, only very very different.
Excellent site www.daphneblue.net and I am really pleased to see you have what I am actually looking for here and this this post is exactly what I am interested in. It's taken me literally 1 hours and 26 minutes of searching the web to find you (just kidding!) so I shall be pleased to become a regular visitor :)
